Marin Cake Studio operates as a custom dessert studio rather than a retail bakery. There is no display case to choose from. Every dessert is designed in collaboration with the client — cakes, cupcakes, and cookies made specifically for one celebration, then collected from the San Rafael storefront.
That focus buys the time to get the design and the craftsmanship right. Clients value it because it treats dessert as an intentional part of the day rather than another line on the checklist.
